NO BAKE TRAVELLING BARS

 

 

Measure out into a big bowl:

 

1 cup sesame seeds, toasted or raw.

½ cup each chopped walnuts, pecans, or almonds.

½ cup each pumpkin seed, sunflower seed, or coconut.

 

The total seeds and nuts can be any combination that you like, up to 3 cups total, including the

 sesame seed.

 

In a big frying pan add:

 

Juice of half an orange,

½ cup each chopped dates, raisins, chopped prunes, apricots

 or dried cranberries.

The total dried fruit can be any combination, up to 2 cups total.

Add 2 Tbls.  honey.

 

Place on high heat, stir and fry until bubbly, and the fruit is soft. Approx. 5 minutes

 

Add fruit to the seeds/nuts and stir well.

Press into a buttered 9 x 13 pan.

Can cool on the counter or in fridge.

Cut when cold.

 

Everytime you make them they can be different!
